OVERVIEW

It is a 10.1 sq km complex, with 200 widely dispersed buildings, a 33.8 km of railway track, and a 35.4 km perimeter fence.

It is home to the Army School of Ammunition, including the centre for training Explosive Ordnance Disposal (E.O.D.) engineers.

In 2012, Kingston worked with the M.O.D. to upgrade the bomb disposal training school, the weapons decommissioning area and the accommodation buildings.
