OVERVIEW

R.A.F. Brize Norton is located at 105 km west-north-west of London and is the largest station of the Royal Air Force operating air transport, air-to-air refueling and military parachuting and with a fleet of aircrafts like the Hercules, C-17 Globemaster, TriStar and VC10.

Kingston worked with the Public Service Agency (P.S.A.) in 2013 to look at the feasibility study of extending the existing facility to allow the closure of smaller runaways. The result of the study advised an increase in runaway capacity and the development of additional service buildings in order to enable the diversification of aircraft types able to operate from the existing facility with the minimum disruption of the flight line.
