OVERVIEW

This Kabul New City project’s scope is parcel 2 phase 1, located in the southern end of Dehsabz South on the existing Kabul – Bagram Road.  The total area of parcel 2 is approximately 1,275 Ha (12.75 km²), comprising of detached houses, apartment buildings, central/ commercial offices zone, peripheral commercial/ offices zone, a light industrial zone, social/ public facilities, recreation facilities, parks and greenery landscapes. The scheme expected to provide in total a minimum of 12,000 housing units.

In 2014, Kingston was appointed to provide high-level cost data analysis for the entire development and value engineering advice during the development of the detailed design. The Kingston team also prepared the generic bills of quantities and tender documents for the procurement process.
