Overview
In 2004, in conformity with the state’s policy, the Queensland Government wanted to determine whether there was any type of interest from the private sector in participating in the Petrie to Kippa- Ring Transport Corridor project with some if not all of the roles (designer, constructor, owner, maintainer and/or operator) of the construction scope.
Kingston was engaged in the project with determining the level of interest being harnessed in order to fulfil the Government’s objectives of obtaining the best value for money from a private/public partnership for the Petrie to Kippa- Ring Transport Corridor Project.
