The Baghdad National stadium now hosts a 100,001-seat national stadium, a secondary training stadium and various facilities of retail and hospitality. This created an international standard facility that the people of Iraq are proud of.

OVERVIEW
Kingston was approached in 2010 to work with the prospective contractor to bring out together an architectural, engineering and delivery team for the new National Stadium Development in Iraq.
A group of American and British specialists were then appointed by Kingston creating and submitting a successful bid. The bid was then further developed, the total cost was assessed and it was submitted for the kind approval of the Ministry of Sport as part of a design competition.
