OVERVIEW

All the geological and hydrological studies confirm the presence of large quantities of water within the Reservoir in the Tawrgha to the south of Misurata City with an estimated annual productivity of about (10-15) million cubic meters. The project was to drill eight wells each 33 cm inner diameter, laying of 8 ɸ 400 water transmission pipes and construction of 60,000 m3 per day water treatment plant. The Plant consist of assembly tanks, natural cooling towers and four solid contacts tanks.

Kingston was responsible as Technical Director for putting together the engineering supervision and construction management team and ensuring that it was delivered within the set timescale and budget.
