OVERVIEW

The Misurata Water Treatment Plant project entailed drilling eight wells, each of 33 cm inner diameter, lay off 8 ɸ 400 water transmission pipes, and construct a 60,000 m3 per day water treatment plant. The Plant consists of assembly tanks, natural cooling towers and four solid contacts tanks.

During 1997, Kingston, by being project manager, was responsible for putting together the engineering supervision and construction management team and ensuring it was delivered within the set timescale and budget.
